Milk dud

I bought a car.

Then I had a celebratory lunch at island empenadas:

Then I got the car windows tinted

Then I drove to Atlantic City for my mothers birthday and won money playing black jack and pai gow.

Then I went to the sayville farmers market 2 weekends in a row and bought a lot of food. Some pictured below, some not.

That's all kinds of different greens from an organic farm in yaphank. I snack all day on them.

That's cherry salsa, hot Spanish olives, and the remnants of sour pickles I got. Plus jalapeƱo pickles lurking. Brine-a-mania!

That's Japanese eggplant, a red onion, a daikon radish, and edible flowers. The edible flowers are from a distributor out here. The first week at the farmers market, I didnt see the lady that I got them from last year. Soooo, being the lunatic that I am, I tracked down a place to get them, with many confused looks and bewildered stares. They come from Long Island. Evidently a Dutch conglamorate bought farmland out here and flowers are one of their crops. Great. Except they taste like kaopectate. But, don't be sad. The second week at sayville the flower lady was there with her polish mother. So i asked and she said she'll bring some just for me, they're about to be in bloom. This has made my summer....I'm very lonely...lol haha

That's peaches and tomatoes and plums. Yum.

And that's fingerling potatoes and garlic and beets.

Next time I'll take pictures of the food I make, but you can use your imagination til then.
